CANNELTON - After a slow start, Perry Central started looking for its shot more and getting more points in transition to beat Cannelton 78-55 in boys basketball Friday.
Perry Central hit only 4 of 16 shots from the field in the first quarter, including 0 for 5 from three-point range, and trailed 10-9 at the end of that period.
But the Commodores hit 27 of 58 the rest of the way, including 10 of 18 from three-point range, to finish with 41.9 percent field-goal shooting.
