ENGLISH—Trevor Carter shot an 8-over-par 36 to lead Perry Central to second place in the seven-team Early Bird boys golf tourney at Lucas Oil course Saturday.
Paoli won with 183 strokes, six fewer than the Commodores.
Tell City’s Mason Waninger finished second in the nine-hole tourney with a 42, just two strokes behind medalist Logan Andis of Paoli.
But Tell City did not have a team score, as only three Marksmen competed. Two are sidelined with medical issues and one had a baseball game.
Carter placed third in the 38-man field.
