LEOPOLD - Perry Central's girls track team won the PLAC title by 83 points over the runner-up last year. So it should be scary news to the rest of the conference that Coach Becky Genet thinks the Commodores are even stronger this year.
"I feel like we're going to be more rounded and stronger than we've been for several years, though there are still some areas we're not real strong in," said Genet, starting her 30th year at the team's helm.
The Commodores have 26 girls on their roster, the same as last year. Sixteen have lettered in the past - seven more than last year.
