LEOPOLD – Perry Central School Board members gave their support to a plan Monday that could modernize the heating and cooling of the oldest sections of the school and save money on its monthly utility bills.
The board said it preferred a plan under development by Performance Services to perform what Schools Superintendent Mary Roberson called “behind the scenes” work to replace 1960s systems that heat and cool areas of the school. Much of the equipment is original to the building is no longer efficient and repair parts are no longer available.
