LEOPOLD - Perry Central's trapping defense forced Wood Memorial in 15 turnovers and 32 percent field-goal shooting as the Commodores won 50-35 in boys basketball Friday.
The Commodore defense limited the Trojans to one field goal in the second quarter as Wood Memorial shot 1 for 8 from the field.
Perry Central Coach Matt Carter said, "Our trapping defense played better (tonight than in previous games). We caused them to turn the ball over.
