PC wins 2 PLAC baseball games

LEOPOLD - Wes Linette pitched a one-hitter as Perry Central shut out Springs Valley 10-0 in PLAC baseball Tuesday.

Linette struck out nine and walked four, and his teammates backed him with errorless defense.

The Blackhawks' only hit was a single with two out in the third inning.

Perry Central had five hits in a six-run second inning and also took advantage of two wild pitches that inning.

Michael Jarboe hit two doubles in four at-bats to lead Perry Central's eight-hit attack for the game.
