MITCHELL—Perry Central hit 59.7 percent from the field in crushing Mitchell 86-36 in PLAC boys basketball Saturday.
The Commodores scored several baskets on rebound shots, outrebounding Mitchell 39-14 overall.
But they also hit well from outside, including 6 of 9 from three-point range.
Derek Thomas led the balanced Commodore attack with 17 points. Tanner Cassidy added 16 as he made all seven of his shots from the field, including two three-pointers.
Colten Hedinger was also perfect from the field as he scored 10 points.
