PC outserves, outhits Memorial

LEOPOLD—Perry Central made 11 ace serves in a 25-7, 25-22, 25-22 volleyball victory over Evansville Memorial Monday.
Grace James served four aces and Hannah Harpenau added three.
The Commodores also “hit the ball very well,” said Perry Central Coach Becky Genet.
Harpenau made 15 kills, Sydney Goffinet 13, and Ashley Gengelbach eight. James had 26 assists.
Gengelbach made five blocks, Jordan Sprinkle four, and James two.
Jennifer Kemp led the Commodores in digs with 17. Harpenau added 16 and Brittany Parker 11.
