TELL CITY - Students attending the Perry County Learning Academy have earned 65 credits this semester, according to a report by Executive Director Mike Bishop to its two-member board of directors Jan. 8.
The state Education Department notified him Dec. 5, he said, the learning academy is eligible for $7,584 from its adult-education division for the period Feb. 1 to June 30. He also noted that under a collaboration with Joe Hall and the Perry County Lifelong Learning Network, 43 students enrolled in GED-preparation classes during 2007.
