CORYDON—Key plays by Rachael Rayford and Hilarie Hahus in the last three minutes helped Perry Central beat Corydon 41-37 in girls basketball Friday.
Perry Central led by five to seven points most of the game. But Corydon hit three three-point shots to take a 37-33 lead with three minutes left.
Then Rayford made a couple of steals as the Commodores applied pressure defense. “They really had trouble with our man(-to-man) press,” said Perry Central Coach Bill Dickerson.
