FRENCH LICK - Perry Central's girls basketball team showed its resiliency Thursday, losing a 10-point lead but coming back to beat Springs Valley 51-38.
The Commodores built a 22-12 lead on a rebound basket and free throw by Alie Schroeder with 1:34 left in the first half.
Springs Valley came back to tie the game 30-30 with 1:56 left in the third quarter. But the Commodores immediately answered with a 10-0 run to build their lead back to 10.
