DUBOIS—Turnovers and a lack of rebounding hurt Perry Central in a 51-24 freshman basketball loss to Northeast Dubois Monday.

The Commodores trailed only 19-12 at halftime.

“Then in the third quarter we came out and had several turnovers, and they got layups off them,” said Perry Central Coach Kevin Rogier. “And they had several offensive rebounds.”

Trent Brown scored 13 points for Perry Central and Isaiah Ernst added nine.

Perry Central, 0-1, will host Tell City Monday at 6:30 p.m.
