RAMSEY - Rachael Rayford won two individual distance races to lead Perry Central to victory in a girls triangular track meet Tuesday.

Perry Central scored 89 points, North Harrison 46, and Paoli 26.

The Commodores used their depth to dominate the meet. They won only six of the 13 individual events but took the top three places in three of them. They also won all three relays.

Rayford won the 1600-meter run in 6:01.95 and the 800 in 2:45.9.

She teamed with Lavina Schwartz, Tessa Lynch and Audra Gehlhausen to win the 3200 relay in 11:23.37.

Jessica Huber and Brianna Crockett each won one individual race and ran on two winning relays.

Huber won the 300 low hurdles in 54.55 seconds. Crockett took the 200 dash in 30.0 seconds.

Crockett, Arika Kemp, Danielle Esarey and Huber won the 400 relay in 55.64.

Crockett, Lynch, Schwartz and Huber won the 1600 relay in 5:01.

Becca Taylor won the 100 intermediate hurdles in 19.20.

Alie Schroeder won the shot put with a 32-foot-7 throw.

Despite the victory, Perry Central Coach Becky Genet said the Commodores had "no real good performances" because it was "very cold" and it was their second day back from spring break.
