PC girls pound Blackhawks

LEOPOLD—Perry Central hit 56.4 percent from the field in a 74-36 PLAC girls basketball victory over Springs Valley Thursday.
Perry Central center Ashley Graves hit 12 of 18 from the field and had 28 points, 20 rebounds, seven blocked shots, three assists and three steals.
“A lot of Ashley’s shots are from point-blank range, but not all of them were put-backs,” said Perry Central Coach Bill Dickerson. “She hit some turn-around, short hook shots.
