Patoka Lake Heritage Day set for Saturday

BIRDSEYE - Patoka Lake will host a Heritage Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the visitors center. Activities for all ages will include corncob darts, tomahawk throwing, clay crafts and old-time games. Interpretations of quilting and outdoor cast iron cooking will also be available for visitors.  Participants will also be able to hear the Moery and the Dillard families' stories as they visit the 1860s Moery cabin, reconstructed at the Patoka Visitor Center.  There will be dulcimer lessons at 11 a.m.
