Patient Lions snare Bulldogs

BLOOMINGTON—Lighthouse Christian’s patient offense resulted in a lot of layups in the Lions’ 54-44 girls basketball win over Cannelton Saturday.
“They were really patient on offense and made us work (on defense) and we gave up a lot of easy baskets,” said Cannelton Coach Mike Garrett. “We had no help defense whatsoever.”
At the other end the Bulldogs “missed a lot of 10- to 12-foot shots,” said Garrett.
