CANNELTON – The Perry County Parks and Recreation Department has submitted a request for a $31,900 grant from the Schergens Foundation to acquire a storage building for Eagles Bluff Park.
The building, where parks department personnel could store and work on lawn mowers and other equipment, would have a 30- by 40-foot concrete floor and metal siding and roof.
The county’s building-trades high-school class has agreed to build the structure for $31,900 if the parks board can get funding for it.
