CANNELTON - Perry County Recreation Director Adam Tempel told the county's parks and recreation board Wednesday that he has requested more money for fuel but less for several other items in his annual budget request to the county council.
Other than health insurance, which went up but is a required expenditure, and a request for 5-percent raises for department staff, which he admitted is unlikely, Tempel said that "what we're requesting is $1 less than last year."
