CANNELTON – The Perry County Council approved $243 more than last year for the county parks and recreation department’s budget, but the department will have $825 less to spend for its projects.
That’s because of an increase in health insurance and a state-mandated increase in retirement funding, county Recreation Director Adam Tempel told the parks board Wednesday.
