LEOPOLD—Brittany Parker had 12 points and five steals as Perry Central beat Crawford County 26-11 to win its own seventh grade girls basketball tourney Saturday.
Hannah Edwards added 10 points for the Commodores, who raised their record to 3-0.
The Commodores trounced Tecumseh 37-15 in the first round of the four-team tourney as Parker scored 18 points, mostly on fast-break layups.
Edwards added eight points and Megan Thomas made three steals.
Tell City lost both its games in the tourney, falling 31-10 to Crawford County in the first round and 22-9 to Tecumseh in the consolation game.
Daisy Suters scored eight points and made four steals against Crawford County. Sydney Goffinet added seven rebounds and four steals.
Goffinet had four points and five rebounds against Tecumseh. Mollie Ingle also grabbed five rebounds.
