TELL CITY—Tell City won 8 of 10 events to defeat Evansville Central 66-47 in boys swimming Tuesday.
Neither team had a diver and the 500-yard freestyle was not held either. Tell City’s 500 swimmer, Stephen Houle, was sick and the Bears did not enter anyone in that event.
Houle’s absence left Tell City with just five swimmers while Central had 10.
“We swam really well,” said Tell City Coach Mike Page. “Luke’s 100 butterfly was fantastic.”
