PERRY COUNTY - The fall drug-takeback event is scheduled for Sept. 29 at the fire stations and Leopold clinic locations used previously, according to Ken Smith, director of the Perry County Recycling Management District.
Conducted in conjunction with national efforts by the Drug Enforcement Agency, the collections give people places to take outdated or no-longer-needed medications and used syringes, making their homes safer and less cluttered.
