Orscheln collecting scrap batteries

TELL CITY - Orscheln Farm & Home will collect scrap batteries Saturday and Sunday and return the batteries to a recycling facility where 100 percent of the batteries will be recycled.

Customers can bring any brand auto, marine, farm, truck and lawn-and-garden batteries in for recycling.

As an incentive, Orscheln is offering a $5 gift card for each battery customers bring in without a limit except for lawn-and-garden batteries. Customers must bring in two of them to receive the gift card.
