Orleans beats Perry Central

LEOPOLD - Orleans center Cassie Adams scored 20 points as the Bulldogs beat Perry Central 51-39 in PLAC girls basketball Thursday.

Adams hit a lot of 5-foot shots "when they set a screen on Alie" Schroeder, Perry Central's center and no other defender switched to Adams in time to stop her, said Perry Central Coach Sarah Spindler.

Junior guard Emily Grace added 13 points for the Bulldogs.

Perry Central's loss overshadowed a 23-point, 25-rebound, four-blocked-shots performance by Schroeder.
