The Perry County 4-H Fair opened Wednesday. Inspired by a range of genres, including biology, ceramics and an array of other subjects, several grand-champion-winning projects completed by Perry County 4-Hers were on display during the 4-H fair.
Several former Perry County Purdue Extension agents were present to take part in the opening ceremony. Each agent was recognized for his or her service to the extension office and 4-H efforts and presented a commemorative pin. Pictured are Evelyn Adams, who served 35 years with the Perry County extension office and National Association of Extension 4-H Past President Jeff Holland, who was based in Perry County from 1982-1986.
Holland was awarded his pin by 4-H Junior Ambassador Lucas Thomas.
