Officials certify bridge, OK agreement for fall tax sale

TELL CITY – Perry County’s commissioners approved at a regular meeting Feb. 4 a covered-bridge certification and a tax-sale contract.

“Perry County does share the Huffman Mill Bridge with Spencer County,” County Auditor Connie Berger reminded them as she explained the requirement to certify each year that the bridge exists. “By doing the certification, we receive $925 annually” from the state.
