Offices closed for MLK Day

PERRY COUNTY – Governmental offices across the county will be closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

County and city offices will be closed and trash pickup in Tell City will be delayed by a day.

In Tell City, meetings of the city board of public works and safety and water board will be held Tuesday instead of Monday. The works board convenes at 6 p.m. with the water board following at 7.

There will be no mail delivery Monday, meaning subscribers of the News will receive the Jan. 21 issue a day late.
