GLASGOW, Ky. - Strong offensive rebounding in the second quarter propelled Glasgow to an 83-50 boys basketball victory over Cannelton Saturday.
Cannelton trailed only 12-10 after one quarter.
But Glasgow "got a lot of put-backs" in the second quarter, said Cannelton Coach Brian Garrett, and outscored the Bulldogs 33-8 that period to build a 27-point lead.
The Bulldogs' two tallest starters, Ethan DuPont and Dillion Powers, were in foul trouble and played little that quarter.
