She knows what it’s like to be a kid growing up in Cannelton, Perry Circuit Judge Lucy Goffinet told children at the William Bennett Early Learning Center in that city Thursday. “The first thing you have to remember is that even though we are a very small school, you can do whatever you want as long as you work hard,” she said. Others included the mayor, representatives of Cannelton’s police, fire and utilities departments and the Perry County News.
