Oakwood residents learn about local pretzel shop

Residents from Oakwood Health Campus recently visited the Tell City Pretzel Shop as part of their Lifelong Learning program. A member of the group, Grace Brown, was a former employee of the Kessler’s when they owned the business.

Pictured here are Brown with current owner Brad Smith, comparing their techniques used to twist pretzels. The group was able to experience twisting pretzels on the line as viewing the whole production process. Upon exiting they were able to sample a variety of the flavored pretzels.
