North Perry students learn about community helpers

LEOPOLD – During the month of October, students of the Lincoln Hills Development Corp. North Perry Head Start learned about community helpers and careers.

The students had an opportunity to create a community of their own, using a brown paper bag, construction paper shapes and colors, along with markers, crayons and glue sticks. When they were finished, the students gathered their buildings for a community display.
During this week, students and their fathers took a “Dad’s Day” field trip to the EMS Building in Tell City to show the children how important the EMS are in the community.
