CANNELTON - The Perry County Parks and Recreation Board discussed construction plans for Eagle's Nest Park and welcomed a new member by making him an officer Wednesday.
Under the county statute that created the board, it must elect officers at its first meeting each calendar year.
Edd Ransom was re-elected president and Dan Peter was re-elected vice president. But Dorothy Kessner, the board's secretary for several years, retired from the board when her term expired at the end of 2007.
