Flu-shot clinic next week
TELL CITY – The offices of Drs. Marcrum, Bailey and Kleeman, 421 Seventh St. in Tell City, will host a flu-shot clinic Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, Oct. 7 through Oct. 9.
Hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the office closed from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. daily for lunch. Cost is $35. For more information, call 547-9663, Ext. 1.

Evanston kickball tourney Oct. 12

EVANSTON – The annual Evanston kickball tourney is set for 9 a.m. Oct. 12.
Teams of 8 to 10 players may participate. Cost is $150 per team. Registration is due by Saturday.

Donations will help Miss Teen Schweizer Fest
TELL CITY – Perry County’s own Makala Kellems, Miss Teen Schweizer Fest, will compete for the state Miss Teen title in November.
Donations are being accepted to cover costs of travel, food and the hotel stay for the competition in Indianapolis.
Donations can be dropped off at Cinderella’s in Tell City or mailed to the business at 922 Main St., Tell City, IN 47586.  Donations are needed by Oct. 15.
