Tri Kappa to host rummage sale March 10
TELL CITY — The Epsilon Omega Chapter of Tri Kappa will hold its annual rummage sale from 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 10 at Indiana Realty on Main Street across from Lincoln Hills Development Corp.
The group will accept community donations from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 9. You may drop off any items at Indiana Realty. All proceeds will be donated to the Tri Kappa Philanthropy Fund.

NBFD Ladies Auxiliary soup, bake sale
NEW BOSTON – The New Boston Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will host their annual “famous” soup and bake sale March 11 at the New Boston Fire Department.
Soup will be ready for pick up at noon and the cost is $12 per gallon. All proceeds from the sale will go to the fire department. The community is invited and encouraged to pick up some soup and support the department.

Renaissance yard sale March 10
TELL CITY – The Tell City Junior-Senior High School Renaissance Yard Sale will be held from 6 a.m. to noon March 10 in the Bryan Taylor Sports Arena. The public can enter through Gate 3. All proceeds will go toward student recognition for academic, athletic and co-curricular activities.

Perry County Farm Bureau meeting March 13
LEOPOLD – Perry County Farm Bureau will host its annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. March 13 at the Leopold Conservation Club.
Bryan Whistler will be the guest speaker and discuss his recent visit to India, where he learned about the country’s agriculture.
A pork-chop dinner will also be offered during the evening. A short business meeting will be held at 7:15 and include the election of delegates and reporting of pas activities. Cost is $4 per person. To RSVP, call 547-7044 or stop by the local Farm Bureau by March 8.

GED testing available at Perry Central
LEOPOLD – Perry Central Community School Corp. will offer GED testing to Indiana residents who need their certificate for employment, college classes or personal satisfaction. Two evenings are required for completion of the entire test and pre registration is mandatory. Test session are available April 5 and 9, Mary 14 and 24 and June 11 and 12.
Those wishing to test must be at least 16 years old and show proof of Indiana residency. The cost is $70 for the complete examination. For more information, contact GED chief examiner Susie Knox at 547-3347.
