TELL CITY - Thanks to new print-management software, the Tell City-Perry County Public Library recovered $1,148.52 in fines last month, compared to last September's $830.84.
Library Director Larry Oathout said since installing PC-Cop, which also tracks Internet users' time, they have also collected $254.60 in printing fees and the staff believes the software is working well.
There have been a few complaints, he told board members Oct. 1, adding that some people say they need more than two hours and others complain because they have to pay their fines before logging on.
