ST. CROIX - Indiana Department of Transportation officials will join state and local leaders and relatives of former Indiana Gov. Frank O'Bannon for a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday on a new section of Indiana 37 in northern Perry County.
The ceremony will signify the opening of the new state route, known as the Frank O'Bannon Highway, that connects Interstate 64 and Indiana 64, a project long sought after by many in southern Indiana and the subject of discussion and public hearings.
