NEW HARMONY - New Harmony edged Cannelton in hits 10-9 and beat the Bulldogs 14-11 in baseball Tuesday.
Each team committed six errors and New Harmony batters also drew nine walks.
Cannelton starter Tyler Aud, who usually has pretty good control, gave up six walks before being relieved in the second inning.
"He couldn't find the plate," said Cannelton Coach Mike Garrett.
The Rappites scored nine runs in those two innings and led the rest of the way, though Cannelton did cut the difference to one run twice.
Ethan Herzog and Thomas Lane each hit a double and a single to lead Cannelton hitters.
Cannelton fell to 1-19 while New Harmony improved to 4-9.
The second game of the scheduled doubleheader was canceled after one inning due to darkness, as the Rappites' lights were not working.
The Bulldogs will play Tecumseh in the Tecumseh sectional Monday at 10 a.m.
