PERRY COUNTY – A few good people are wanted to join a tiny group that has influence in Perry County. They’ll receive no pay for the time they’ll give. In fact, they have to pay a fee to be eligible.
The Perry County Recycling Management District Advisory Board has five members, but can have up to nine, Marlow Smethurst said during a meeting of the district’s board of directors Thursday. Any county resident who pays the district’s annual fee is eligible for the advisory board, he said.
