REO—Four consecutive missed serves put Cannelton in the hole early in a 25-12, 25-17, 25-17 volleyball loss to South Spencer Tuesday.
“We had a lot of missed serves,” said Cannelton Coach Felicia Myers.
Still the Bulldogs played with the Rebels after their cold start. The second and third games were each tied 17-17 before the Rebels pulled away.
Allicyn Garrett led Cannelton hitters with four kills and Taylor Lawalin made two blocks. Lawalin and Jackie Malone each made 12 sets.
