TELL CITY - A state-police lab team was called to dismantle and remove what local Tell City officers said was an active methamphetamine lab found Friday in Hagedorn Park.
According to Tell City Detective Alan Malone, officers received information that drug-manufacturing items were located near a small shed in the park, just north of the 1700 block of Tell Street.
Police located a backpack they said contained drug-making supplies and ingredients and called in two people who work in the clandestine-drug-lab team for the Indiana State Police.
