Meth charges land two in county jail

TOBINSPORT - Two Perry County men spent Christmas Day in the county jail after being arrested on drug charges.

A 37-year-old man arrested Friday was allegedly carrying 8 grams of methamphetamine and drug-making supplies, state police reporter. George A. James, of 417 First St., Cannelton, was arrested by Trooper Heath Carkuff and faces charges of dealing in and possessing methamphetamine, resisting law enforcement and possessing 10 grams or more of ephedrine, one of the key ingredients in making the drug.
