McClintic, defense propel Tell City past Rebels

REO - Kara McClintic had 12 points and 10 assists as Tell City beat South Spencer 54-36 in PAC girls basketball Thursday.

McClintic "could have had 15 assists - I'm not exaggerating - we missed that many layups," said Tell City Coach John Lyons. "But we played a nice game overall. We played good defense."

Tell City outshot the Rebels from the field 46.2 percent to 31.8 percent.

The Marksmen hit better outside than inside, as they made 4 of 5 three-point shots.
