TELL CITY – With 2009 down to its final days, the Tell City Regional Arts Association has plans in place for a New Year's Eve murder-mystery dinner theater.

The group is hosting  Masquerade Murder Mayhem at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Schergens Center.

"It promises to be fun night of solving a classic whodunit crime," said Cheri Taylor, the group's president.

The association hosted a similar event last winter that received rave reviews and Taylor said the New Year's Eve event will offer the same creative fun.

Once the crime is solved, detective work will be replaced with revelry as the local rock band Blyndsyde performs from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Tickets for the dinner theater are $20 per person and $25 for dinner and band performance. Reservations for the dinner theater are needed by Wednesday morning and can be made by calling the Perry County Chamber of Commerce office at 547-2385.

Tickets for Blyndsyde's performance can be purchased  at the chamber or at the door Thursday.
