Marksmen tie Mount Vernon 1-1

TELL CITY—All the scoring was done in one minute as Tell City tied Mount Vernon 1-1 in boy soccer Thursday.
The game was scoreless until Mount Vernon got a goal with four minutes left in the first half.
Thirty seconds later Hunter Sandage scored a goal for Tell City to tie the score.
From there the defenses took over again.
“We played an awesome game—it was fun to watch,” said Tell City Coach Austin Fischer.
“The kids did everything I asked of them, but we just couldn’t find that second goal.”
