Marksmen outwrestle Boonville

TELL CITY - Tell City won 11 of 14 matches to beat Boonville 57-18 in a wrestling season opener Tuesday.

The Marksmen won four matches in the lower weight classes by forfeit, as Boonville had two wrestlers hurt and one academically ineligible. "But I think we would have won those matches anyway," said Tell City Coach Joe Litherland.

Of the 10 matches actually wrestled, Kyle Shrubb, Eric Sabelhaus, Dustin Gould and Dylan Froehlich earned pins for the Marksmen.

Sabelhaus and Shrubb each disposed of his opponent in 1:46.
