Marksmen fall after hot start

TELL CITY—Tell City won its first four matches but lost the last 10 in a 57-24 season-opening wrestling loss to Boonville Tuesday.
The Marksmen earned the maximum six points in each of their victories, winning three by pins and one by forfeit.
“We’re just awfully young and it really showed,” said Tell City Coach Joe Litherland. “We were just physically outmatched in the middle and upper weights.”
The meet started with the heavyweight match, where Cody Osborne pinned Denver Krueger in 30 seconds.
