The Marksmen’s other tie-breaker victory came in No. 2 doubles, where Jack Ramsey and Chandler Lacy beat Riley Farmer and Elliott Crow 7-6 (7-5), 6-2.
Zach Fisher dominated Braden Taylor 6-0, 6-1 in No. 2 singles for Tell City’s other win.

Keanan Alstadt and Tyler Clark beat Kevin Yeung and Luke Thomas 6-4, 6-1 in No. 1 doubles.
“This was Gibson’s first conference loss in three years,” noted Tell City Coach Nick Weyer. “It was a good win for us, a step in the right direction. But there is still lots of work to be done.
“The lineup may not be settled; we may need to reposition a few players in order to maximize our team’s potential.”
Tell City, 1-1 overall and in the conference, will host Forest Park today at 4:30 p.m.
