Marksman boys 33rd in strong 52-team meet

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—No Tell City runner finished in the top 150 in the strong 52-team Trinity Invitational boys cross country meet Saturday.
Tell City scored 924 points to finish 33rd among 52 teams. Carmel won with 88 points, beating Brentwood, Tenn., on the sixth-man tie-breaker.
“Nine of the nation’s top 50 teams were in attendance,” noted Tell City Coach Chris Hollinden. “It was a good eye-opener for our kids before we start hitting the postseason meets.”
