Malone to be honored by NFF

EVANSVILLE—Tell City senior Brennan Malone will be one of eight players honored by the Southern Indiana Chapter of the National Football Foundation at its inaugural scholar-athlete banquet at St. Mary’s Health Manor 5 p.m. Sunday, April 13.
Malone played quarterback and defensive back for the Marksmen last fall and ranks first in his class academically.
The other honorees will be Nolan Goebel of Mater Dei, Hugh Ehrensbeck and Sam Stratman of Evansville Memorial, Andrew Brown and Bret McCullough of Reitz, Owen Mattingly of Providence, and Cody Thompson of Southridge.
Paul Condry, editor and founder of the Indiana Football Digest, and Ron Dilatush from the National Football Foundation will speak.
