Make it Real Sunday this weekend at CCC

TELL CITY – Make It Real Sunday, a presentation of Sonny Childs Ministries of Paragould, Ark., will be held June 10 at Community Christian Church in Tell City.
Sonny Childs is an author and a traveling evangelist. He is the director for the Missionaries for America Program, a ministry that trains Christians to view their own community as a mission field. He is also founder of the “Make It Real” Movement, which promotes the practical, provable Christian advantage through publications, motivational speaking engagements, and online resources.
Sonny and his wife, Cindy, live with their two sons, Bryson and Gabriel, down a quiet country lane between Paragould and Marmaduke, Ark. Sonny is a graduate of Crowley’s Ridge College in Paragould and Harding University of Searcy, Ark.
The activities of Make It Real Sunday begin at with a continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. At 9 a.m., Childs will speak on “Exposing False Positives.” Other messages are entitled “When Silence Speaks,” Navigating by Silence,” Fasting to Hear,” and Holy Randomness.
A luncheon will be served at 11:45 a.m., and there will be classes and activities for children, teens, and adults in the afternoon, beginning at 2 p.m.
Activities will close with a pizza fellowship at 4:30 p.m.
